The Upper East Regional Manager of the Drivers Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA), Al-Rashid Mohammed has admonished the motoring public to drive carefully and avoid drunk driving during the Yuletide. He maintained that when Drivers use the roads very professionally it will help prevent needless and avoidable deaths during the season. Mr. Mohammed gave this message in an exclusive interview with GBC URA-Radio in Bolgatanga. He further used the opportunity to encourage all vehicle owners who have been given Defective Vehicle (DV) number to avail their vehicles for Registration, since the DV number can not be use on the roads for more than one year without registration. Mr. Mohammed also wished all his staff and management of GBC URA-RADIO Merry Christmas and a productive and promising year, and pray for more collaboration in the years ahead.
